Our council spends nothing (so it seems) on our town park and verything's falling intio disrepair or closing ie the boating lake.

if it was privately run, paid for with a small admission fee, it would be better managed and a more enjoyable place for all....and it would get rid of the dossers and winos.

we already pay - with our council tax!! If councils have enough millions of pounds stashed in Iceland banks then they have enough to cover things like this!! why should we pay more?
